For the first time, Mobil Travel Guide is partnering with the FHWA National Scenic Byways Program to launch a series of books showcasing America’s Byways. The first 4 guides—America’s Byways of the Midwest, West, Mountain Region and All-American Roads—are available now on the www.mobiltravelguide.com website and in stores across America. U.S. Secretary of Transportation Norman Y. Mineta and Kevin Bristow, Vice President of Publications for Mobil addressed the press at the Historic Hotels of America’s Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. “America’s Byways protect our heritage, connect travelers to America’s treasures and bring business to communities across the country,” adds U.S. Secretary of Transportation Norman Y. Mineta. “These routes are the roads to the heart and soul of America.”
